Current Employee - Traffic Controller says

"travel far with your own vehicle"

Former Employee - Material Handler says

"They don’t care about safety AT ALL. LOTO, proper lifts, sparks flying, whatever...just hit the numbers. If you’re female and start your period early you aren’t allowed to go to your car to get a pad. I was literally told this by my supervisor...I had to get a tampon from a generous coworker."

Former Employee - Temp says

"You work whenever they say you work. Can't make plans. They come first before family. You get lost with no one showing you around. Claim they are too busy to help you."

says

"Poor management and no loyalty to their employees."

Current Employee - Welder says

"No structure, no work live balance, management is the worst."

Former Employee - Assembly Line Worker says

"They treat you bad like your an underclass citizen"

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"This company DOES NOT care about its people. It is not par with the industry - no tuition reimbursement, low salaries with pending bonus, no support for families, high stress, no perks (no company car, basic healthcare, no maternity benefits (at all)), work to death culture, white male wins culture, etc. They publicize that they have leadership development (LDS) - they do not at any level of the organization. There are so many politics and you must be related to get ahead within this company. Look at the C-Suite their entire families work at the company."

Former Employee - Engineer says

"Have to be a "yes man", no freedom, have to work weekends & shutdowns."

Current Employee - Material Handler says

"managment, hilos-out dates, no paid lunches, small building, bad hr team"

Production Associate (Former Employee) says

"There's no job security. Managment changes desicions rapidly without taking in mind of the employees. They lay you off but never calll back. This shows how inconsiderate they are. The Health insurance is bad. The superviosr is rude to my coworkers and I.Overall, this company is okay but the managment needs to be fixed.Safety procedures are goodPay isn't good, management doesn't care for employees. Health Insurance is bad"

PRODUCTION MACHINE OPERATOR (Former Employee) says

"I worked at the Mississauga plant of magna, and there is no opportunity for growth, only redeeming quality was the people I worked with. They were good people but the work ethic lacked in professionalism. And also very less pay"

Operator (Current Employee) says

"The management is a joke. They say you'll only work 5 days is a lie you'r mandated 7 days and get yelled at constantly when you're hired in. They don't care about the people they hire and they try their hardest to get rid of good worker so they can stay open 24/7. Very toxic environment for people-wise and they set you up to fail with inadequate training. Everyone plays the blame game and it's just a giant Highschool. They screw over all their hire ins and their quit rate is about 95/100 a week! So that's why they are constantly hiring and having people who don't know their own job train new people. Good job if you don't wanna have a life cuz you'll be working 12hr 7 days pretty much. They lie threw their teeth when trying to get people in too. Saying stuff like "Yae you'll only work 3-11 5d for 8hr" and your 1st day on the job they'll mandate the weekends and make you take 12hr shifts and then write you up for it if you don't take one. They'll move you to the worst lines too. Like we had 2 guys walk right out cuz theybeen there for 5+ yrs and got moved to the 552 line and magna immediately filled thier jobs after moving em so they became part of something they didnt even want.None what so everEverything from bad management to the way they run things it's all just a big joke"

Assembly Line Worker (Former Employee) says

"no job security, union sucks and benefit start after 7-8 months if you still have job but mostly you will be fired before you make it 90 working days which could be roughly 7-8 months, you will have sometime week or 2 weeks monthly lay off, basically company sucks and union sucks, avoid this company"

Machine Operator (Former Employee) says

"No managment, people you work are rude.they lie to get you in trouble. They dont Care if you are good worker. Your like a number.this place is bad company. Dont waste your time. It s the worst company. I would brather later bricks"

Warehouse Associate (Former Employee) says

"I was forced to quit because my father had died during my shift and the managers didn’t give me any other option. They had refused to allow me to leave my shift to be with my family. They told me if I left I was giving up my position at the company."

"Expected to do the job of two people. Work not equally distributed between team members. Barley enough time to eat at break and then rushed back to work Hate every minute of every workday."

Asembly Line Production (Former Employee) says

"If you enjoy coworker screaming and never knowing if your working 8hr or 12 + hours that day and it changing on 3 or 4 time in an hour then great company. Make sure you never get put on medical restrictions of any kind while working for this company even if it's from an work related accident."

Operator b / assistant team captain (Former Employee) says

"Magna is a joke and no one cares about you or your skill set only personal gain and stabbing people in the back and hr does nothing about it they work you long hours with no chance of moving up or training or advancement theirs work Moto is take your check shut up and don't make waves"

C1UX Business Unit 5 Area Leader (Former Employee) says

"Horrible amounts of overtime which as an Area Leader with straight salary you get no compensation for it. 94-98 hours a week and job was supposed to be 45-50 hours a week. Hourly operators and temporaries make more per week with lees responsibilities. Upper management oblivious to it and could care less. You are expected to go above and beyond with no extra compensation or even gratitude. Quarterly bonuses that are promised that are supposed to make up for time served are few and far between and fall far short of making up for the long hours and hard work.NoneExhausted all the time with little compensation"

Production Associate (Former Employee) says

"If gm’s on a strike they’ll let you go, take down the hiring signs, the days the strike is over the signs go back up and they hire again..............."

My supervisor was stupid and never around. My trainer was not helpful and i like i said. Still waiting to get paid i will never go back or recommend anyone to work there. Go to manpower they will set you up at LG"

Production Associate I (Former Employee) says

"The management was horrible. We worked 12 hours seven days a week. The building was very hot this summer. No air. They are also racist. I hated it there."

CNC gépkezelő (Former Employee) says

"Rossz időben voltam rossz helyen. Főnökök rivarizálnak, akinek nem tetszik a fizimiskája kikezdik a becsületét. Ezért állandóan számolnak le."
